Tank goes on no problem. There’s more room to work with than stock tank. I was gonna be lazy and mig weld it, wouldn’t have to take off the upper triple clamp/plastic stem brg cover. Just do one bead then cool it with air compressor n repeat. But I’ll take it apart n grease the head brgs too.

Yes the stabilizer arm is sitting on the black part of the pin. When the bars are installed there’s the 1/16”+ clearance.

That bolt on tower will never be manufactured again I was informed by Scotts performance. Their guy got injured significantly and is in a care facility and will never again be able to work. Bunmer

Punched in the part number to find out what applications those updated springs fit. Shows it fits a 81-84 atc 250r.....,

Got the cvk jetted correctly and the bike is alive now. Tomorrow the owner will take it for a ride. Ordered the repair parts for the Four Stroke Works Keihin fcr35. Jerry did a great job dialing in this carb.

I pulled apart the fcr35 but the float valve needle was stuck inside the seat. Removal was successful after soaking in various products including Coca Cola, pb blaster, wd40, automatic transmission fluid mixed w acetone, liquid wrench.

They weight about the same. The finned auminum housing on the led lights only looks lightweight.

I know led lights work , the lights offered now a days are impressive. It works drawing less watts than the halogens.

Found this scavenging the fittings for the ims tank. Makes one wonder if the wire clamps were overlooked or what.

I’m going to try this out to see how it does. Some of those led lights are pretty sweet. I’m sure these won’t work as well as those squadron ights.

When I went to get the fittings off the stock tank for installing the ims tank I found this. Wonder if they missed the wire clamps or what.

Installed the pro taper contour bars. But. Bucked that hideous bar pad into the spare parts box. Fugly. Had to bend the clutch lever a touch. The clutch perch was on the rise bend due to the control pods being so wide. No prob on my bike with the renthals, not an issue it works tho.

Ground the stops on the kickstand and tab. For more ground clearance and just to look a little less foo foo.
