Running problems on my zzr 600

Just popped into a local garage and he thinks that the knocking noise is the chain slapping on the frame as i slow down because the chain and sprokets i bought arent good enough for the job, but will also be changing the oil and filter just to see what happens. Thanks for the info ppl.

"Aren't good enough?" You aligned the chain and sprockets, you checked for any binding and you adjusted the chain tension to 30-32mm correct?

yeah i done that but that is what the bloke in garage has told me
