Clutch Basket

Clutch Basket
Hi All,
I have a 2002 ZZR1200 C1H with 47,000 miles on the clock. There has always been a bearing noise when the clutch is out that disappears when the clutch lever is pulled in. This weekend I decided to change the friction plates and springs as the biting point seemed to be further out than when I first got the bike. So I stripped the clutch out to find that the clutch basket has a bit of play in it, but the inner hub had none. So I thought this would be the needle roller bearing in the middle of the basket.
I have ordered the parts required to change the bearing, but I am concerned that the wear might be in the race in the basket itself. There aren't any available for this model either new, or on eBay. However, I have heard that the ZZR1100 D & E models use the same clutch basket. I know that the part numbers are different, but in my experience from working as a bike mechanic, that means very little. My question is, can anyone confirm this before I buy one for a ZZR1100 E?
Thanks for looking

UPDATE: For anyone that is interested, the primary drive gear has 95 teeth on both the ZZR120 and the ZZR1100E and EBC list the same clutch kit for both bikes. So I am beginning to believe that the basket is the same for both.
