Feb 5,there are some of us riding to houston raceway park to watch the races and a suposed 6/7 second gsxr drag bike. We are meeting at 8 am at I 10 east mecury exit, anyone intrested post a reply. The races are from 10 to 5,look foward to hearing from you felow riders. Click on pic to inlarge

Still waiting come on this is a good way to meet other riders,and find out info. Even if you are not a member you can still join the ride. We do have a Pace,and no one is left behind.

Thanks. You should take some pics of your trip and post them. Be interesting to see, I know that it is nice there but I've only seen a couple of pics from when my parents were there to visit my uncle (lives in Texas too).

 

Ok I will buy a disposable camera ,and when I get it developed Ill have it put on cd for downloading. Probly be a week before posting

 

,Today the meeting,and ride went super. Five of us meet at Mc Ds ,and then we all rode to the track.I bought a camera there cause I forgot to get one at the store. Going to get them devolped Monday,and post pics hopefuly that night. Got a lot of racing action, there were 12 race bikes a kawasaki posted a 7.21 @ 190.something it was a old school Kz 1000 air cooled motor with ZX11 style body work. Later a gixer posted a 7.17 I herd over the Mic ,but I didnt see so dont realy belive it. Rode home solo every body went diffrent ways home,but I met up with a gsxr 1000 and on the hwy hit indicated 165 mph he was trying to catch up,but didnt mange till we took the same exit. At the light he just looked at the bike with a look like I have never been beat glad my friends didnt see this. To his credit he was between 225-250lb. It wouldnt matter anyway Kaws are faster we all Know that. Total miles 262 for the day.

Thats me on the right or the realy short one,the rex on the right is mine also the shortest one.Just clic on a pik to enlarge it. There are 2 mustangs in these pics that ran side by side all the way down the track one of the best races all day 1/4 @ 9.45 the other @ 9.47 from start to finsh man almost the same. the cars were same year,both cobras,the blue one had a small spoiler the yellow didnt have one at all. Later in the stands taking pics a group of guys said good job they thought I owned one of those cars cause I looked just like the real owner they saw earlyier.Strange.

Nice pictures! Looks like you had a great day, I love going to drag races. There is just something about it that is so awesome. I love it when the front end of a car comes up and then launches down the track.

 

We did have a great time,e****aly the ride home,fast and smoth 75 miles.Almost no trafic all the way home
