Default Ninja500R Wheelie-able?

I bought my first bike a few months ago, just for economical purposes I told myself, at the time I just wanted a decent commuting bike to save on gas....that didn't last long. I found myself riding the bike in my free time, every chance I got, out on country roads, around bends, its a rush to say the least. Anyways, I was just wondering if it was possible to do a wheelie on a stock 500R. I don't plan on becoming a hardcore stunt rider or showing off or anything. I just want to experience the feeling of going up on one wheel and I'd rather practice on a nice beginners bike if possible before down the road when I upgrade to a decent 800-900 bike. I've read all about how to do a wheelie with the clutch or just with the throttle, but all of these seem to be in reference to super sports bikes. What would a safe technique be, if any, for the 500R? Thank you.

clutching it up would most likley be the only way to do a wheelie on the 500. and welcome to KF

hmm, think about this. That 500 will do wonders with some setup. Not saying I would give up my other rides for it, just saying.

Yeah, I don't know about wheeling on a 500R without using the clutch.
