Default 97 zx7

would love to start riding wheelies on my 97 zx7, i think the initial jerk in the front end is what paranoyes me....question #1. im about 250 lbs....where is a good place on the tach to start clutching 1st gear at a15-20mph, where is a good place to get a set of frame sliders for it??? thanks in advance boyz

don't know about the rpm thing. but if your going toriding wheelies sliders won't help much. i would think about a crash cage... jmo

i would probably start off with power wheelies in first gear. if you clutch it in 1st its gonna come up like a beast. in first gear you want to accelerate to the point where the power band starts kicking in the roll off the throttle a little bit to load the front suspension then smoothly but quickly roll on the throttle agian. it probably wont come up at first but with practice the front will start coming up more and more. i started practicing clutch wheelies in second gear at about 45mph 2nd gear is alto more forgiving than 1st gear is. take you time and be safe!
