Sidi boot shopping

RE: Sidi boot shopping
Not sure if I"m that good to spend the big money yet but I need something. Been checking e-bay on a daily basis as usual. Seems to be the sidi run a half size small than the Alpinestars. So I'm looking for a 10 in Sidi or and 11 for Alpinestars if you come across anything.

Sidi's are excellent boots. I've got a "well-used" (by me) pair of vertebra's. Excellent for track use, maybe a bitoverkill for the street (and kinda stiff if you plan to do muchtime off the bike.) Highly recommended for the protection, though.
My street boots are Teknics. A bit less hard "armor"and thus more flexible with reasonable protection. Good on/off the bike.

That's what I'm lookingf for Jeff used and cheap. Don't plan on doing any walking around on them and it looks like the Sidi to get. Add those to the long list of must haves before spring.

I think you'll be pleased with the Sidi's. You might even want to contact daniel@newenough.com, to be on the lookout for a pair your size (new old stock or gently used.)New Enoughdoes a great job.

Ha!Looks like I'll have to watch what I say in the next 50 posts or so. Nothing wrong with 10 year old beat up black boots with the soles coming off! Still lot of tread on those suckers! Besides Just had to put a new top on the jeep, started to rain inside....he-he
