Look, Kim Jong is a bastard, plain and simple. He hurts his country and his own people in so many ways without even thinking twice. He only cares about holding onto his power no matter what it means to everyone else. I have had quite a few Korean friends, one of which was from the north. NONE of them would like to see this guy alive! Not one of them!

I support Notstock 100%. You have to stand up for what you believe in, and not back down to anyone.

 

and now he seems to be in the final stages of building a neculer weapon that he could use on the US or our allies. Or sell to a terrorist organization; think he would not think how easy it would be to smuggle a device over the China border and through the rough back country.

He is making demands and will not come to the table for diplomatic discussion, I wonder why, maybe because he does not care to discuss anything. This did not go so well for the last dictator who thought it was better to be defiant then to cooperate. Just think how different things would be right now if Sadam had just allowed UN and US inspector’s full access to his facilities and proved that there were no weapons of mass destruction to the world. But instead he chooses to play a game and be defiant, but that is a whole another discussion.

Kim Jong says that if there is a blockade or sanctions levied against his country he would consider this an act of war. So what is the world supposed to do, wait until he nukes the US, Japan or S. Korea? I hope not!

Even his greatest allies China is moving towards punishing him, if he starts going against China he will be cut off from any help and will be cutting his people off from the needed economic life it enjoys from China.

I am sorry if my avatar offends anyone but its only intended to invoke a reaction and stimulate conversation. I hope Heffay reconsiders he is a valuable member and I for one enjoy reading his pos and threads.
