Russell pic
Saw this pic of Scott Russell at Daytona for sale on ebay. Thought you all might enjoy it.
Russell was the MAN at Daytona, (at least when he was with Rob Muzzy,) and a genuinely nice guy, if you've ever met him. I had the opportunity when shooting for Southeastern Bike News (now defunct) 15 years ago.

You ZX7 owners....this is your daddy.
Seriously, Scott (and Rob Muzzy) made the 7 what it is; incredibly refined and STILL a great track bike for all but the very hardcore racers. In fairness, I need to give some credit to Miquel DuHamel(yes; his dad was the original #17) and Thomas Stevens, too, but it was Scott who brought the wow-factor to Kaw in the early 90's. Scott could probably still give the AMA guys a run for their money, were it not for injuries he got after leaving Muzzy. Scott is a God in my book.

Yup nice pic. Although Doug or Scott never happened to do that in front of me! lol I swear, they were both hitting me up by 4 bike lengths on the straights during practice. Some serious power and skill.
