Hey Steve, this pic's for you!

Check these out. These are a few of my fav's. Good friend of mine (who races and won the over 40 class last year) took the pic of Scott leaned WAY over in turn 8.
Both at Mid-Ohio (and on my garage wall...)
Who can name the rider beside Scott on the grid?

ZX7 owners, take note: This guy had a HUGE role in you enjoying your ride. The 7 had many good years and was developed way beyond the usual life expectancy. I'd still take one over many new bikes; they're just incredibly well-sorted and solid.

Nope, Tripp Nobles!
Got a few stray shots of Dale Quarterly (Team Ninja Turtles) and Doug Polen, if anyone's interested. Polen was riding the old 888 Supersport Duc. MAN was that a beautiful bike. A friend of my racer buddy had a 900ss that was race prepped he let me ride once. Handled like it was on rails (seriously) but just didn't have the raw power of an in-line 4. (This was after several thousand dollars of engine work, too!) Ducs are really nice bikes, but too many people ride 'em for snob appeal. Bang for the buck, you can't beat a Japanese bike.

Here's a few "new" ones...
A few from the archives.
Who can name the guy in the black shirt. If you drag race and get it wrong, log off NOW!!
Of course, we ALL know who Russell is, right?
#23 was Doug Polen on the 888 Duc. Wow, what a beautiful bike.
I used to own the old red bike. Honda 900F. Andrews cams, Corbin gunfighter, and pimped-out for the times. KILLER torque, but hot as hades. Oil temp was routinely around 200-210. The old Bassani pipe sounded sweet, and actually swirled the exhaust as it came out. Yes, those are smooth bores. (Check out the diameter of that mid-pipe!)
Enjoy.
