a couple exhaust clips

RE: a couple exhaust clips
to gut the can....bout a hour or so. The only thing Im not happy with is its really rough starting. Im starting to think theres a exhaust leak....probably where we cut out the cat. I may or may not replace the header with a OEM one....but I dunno. As for the DIY....its pretty straight forward...cut out 3 sides, wrinkle 4th side and fold over....remove what parts you want, fold back over and weld up.

RE: a couple exhaust clips
ok wait, more questions....
1. why put a stock header on it, dont you still have the stock head pipe on it now ?
2. are all the little baffles still in the muffler ?
3. when you say cut out 3 sides do you mean the complete can or just a section of it where the cat is ?

To put a lil more back pressure in the system

None of the baffles are in the muffler....when I say gutted....i mean gutted.

I mean cut 3 of the 4 sides of the muffler itself....then fold over. The cat is in the header pipe.
