I would rather drive a Ford Festiva...
I used to drive one of those! lol

It really was a great car, at least mechanically. I just tinted the windows so nobody could see me in there!

Nicecar Mark, what really gets me is the guys that drive cars worse than that, then put the loudest exhaust they can find on it. If it was me I wouldn't want to attract attention to myself.

And you know what else grinds my gears, people who drive project cars. If you want to have a tricked out ride, go for it, but if you cant get to work without duct taping the bumper on your primered up project, you probably shouldn't be taking on a project at that point in your life. Besides, I would hate to see a finished project if you did all the work without taking it off the street for a day

Funny you would mention people and their half-*** completed car projects because Ijust thinking about it yesterday when I saw this old ford probe in a parking lot that had the huge wing, front scoop, and a f*cked up front ricer bumper that looked like the guy ran over a rock or something. Oh, and I forgot about the early 90's pontiac grand prix wheels on it!

I was at a mexican resturant once and on of the employees had a POS 80's cavalier, with nothing done to it except gold rims and a broken wing. It was bad, real bad.

Nice ride Mark.

We have alot of those cars around here. Not Festivas, just POS in general. We still have a few cars running around with 13inch wheels that stick 4inches past the lip of the wheel opening. We called it bow-legging back then, but now we call it retarted. Did everyone see these things Im talkin bout or was it just the dumba$$es around here?

I always had trucks. Not for me either. I am glad that went away. Not to say that some of the things they are doing now are any better.

I too hated seeingthoseretards with 13" spoke rims on their civics and crx's. That's why I rolled with 12"s on the Festiva! [sm=gears.gif]

I still see a lot of Mexicans with wheels stuck out about eight inchesfrom their trucks. They usually sport the Mexi-mullet also.[8D]

Lol, yeah seems like every time I see some multi colored car or a car with paint chipping off and a huge carbonfiber wing a damn mexicono is driving it. Not that Iam agianst them or anything its just the way it seems, lol. Although I do agree someone should be held accountable I think the car campanies are doing all they can to limit the toxins that cars produce. I mean look how far mercedes has come with theirbluetec diesel technology. Taking money away fromthe car companiesis just going to make it harder for them to continue to find new ways of limitingharmful emissions. Oh and check out this electriccar, Id drive this in a second! The electric car is not dead. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tesla-roadster.htm
