ya.. bored, and i figured maybe KF could use some luck, as this very section had 666 posts... lmao
now, it's 667..
so.. heres an assload of random crap for you to waste your time with.
trying to peek into my life and all.. you stalker.
lol
typical badass WV trails.. behind the house
pond behind the house at dusk
customer's gixxer i went above and beyond on. (i like heatshrink and solder..)
be-fo
wiring detail (yes.. meticulous. whadaya expenct from an electrical engineer?)
after YAY.. no more fender
shiney piston.. Ooooo
goldwing motor.. (14 hours of work total..) it needed a stator and cam belts
THIS is the kinda work we gotta put up with FROM THE DEALERSHIP!!!!! that is ductape. ..on a tube out of a V star. classic ghetto fix and pray.
implements of destruction!! haha ( you KNOW when the dremels out, it's serious bizness..)
i love that lift. and yes. that is a purple scooter. it is not mine.
oil rack in the store setion.. Nicky Hayden approved.
mo' of da sto'. still under construction, as we just moved here.
more of the shop
MMm cf. thers alot of money in this quad.. lol th labor i got for this kid alone is staggering. ( he kissed the valves off the piston)
as you can see (the shiney spoyt on the black piston) he did a good job. theres faint marks from the other 4 valves. the piston, 5 valves 1 bucket and 1 shim were trashed.
the nikasil plated bore that got trashed.

more, skanks!! lol (still uber bored)
heres my fav, so far.. this kid ran this LT-R 450 without oil for a bit. ..oops
THAT would be metal shavings.. they used to be things like bearings and a cylinder bore.
another pile
another pile.. lol screens here
another pile.. this time in the parts washer
lmao.. that is all metal, baby
left is clean, right still needed dunked
all the bearings are shot in this thing.. it's a total rebuild.
the wasted bore
my fav.. this .. this should not be like that.. lol.. the rod bearings are completely welded solid.. the big end bearing collapsed allowing the piston skirt to contact the crank counterweight. thers NO gap (literally) between the piston and weight.. they're bonded together.
as you can see, i'm holding the piston.. usually, a rotating assembly would "unfold" when held like this.
nice skirt, eh?
ok.. i think thats it.. tired now.. but ya. theres a day in the life of me .. buildin stuff and walkin thru pretty trails when the weather's nice.. when i get my hundo trucked here, i'll get more trail pics.. and they'll actually be riding shots.. not walking.. maybe i'll see a bear or coyote or something.. they're definitely up there in the mountains.
ok.. your turn to be bored. i'm done.

yea.... the idiot "mechanic", i use that term loosly, came to the conclusion that the bike needed a new head, and after he bent the intake valves and got new ones, and put it all together there was a slight tapping, and i thaught nothing of it, well the piston was hitting the intake valve at TDC every stroke even though the vavle was closed, well that only lasted 1000 miles then it sucked the valve as you can see..... m f'er

eric, i would have slid the remains of that engine slowly up that guys *** with no lube.
wow.. just.. wow..
and HELL ya J!! i'm right off I 81 on exit 16.. Rt.9 west.. make a right onto GM access road (2nd light) and then make another immediate right, behind the credit union/bank place on the corner.. you'll prbably see bikes outside all the way at the end of the lot.
