210 Mile Ride to Mountains...
After reading Bluebird's post on her going riding. The wife and I decided to saddle up also... Went up to Ruidoso, had lunch at Cafe Rio's Biker Bar, Drove around a bit, and came back home.... Nice little ride except it rained for about 30 miles. And I dropped my bike [:@] ..... We were parked at Cafe Rio, and When I put my foot down, it was on some gravel I did not see. Whoosh, foot right out from under me. Luckily, my body broke the bikes fall, so only a small scratch on lower fairing on RH side, and a scratch and small dent in exhaust can.
Anyway, here's a couple of Pics....

That's not a burger..... It is a huge clam!! it is some kind of stuffed clam thing. It was ****y, but good. It was 105 leaving the house, and 90 in the mountains. But with that rain we went through, it was a humid SOB...
I am off work until Monday!!! WooHoo!! We are going to go down to Carlsbad Caverns on Saturday. It stays 60 degrees f all year around. The caverns go down 1,000 feet below the ground. And at night they have a Bat Flight. Literally hundreds of thousands of Bats fly out of the cave at dusk. Pretty impressive sight. I am going to get pics..... The wife has never been to the bat flight, so this should be interesting...lol lol
http://www.nps.gov/cave/ There is a link to the caves, if anyone is curious....
