Exactly...nice vid now lets see one of a "pig" cobra losing to a goat with equal mods or none at all. By the way my neighbor has an 03 with significant mods but still the stock Eaton that put down 560 to the wheels and I saw his dyno charts. It now has a Kenne Bell and with a pump gas tune it threw down 680 at the wheels. And no one argued that the Cobra could beat the Z06 those are two different cars. The new one with 500 hp would probably need a little more than just the bottle to get the Z06. I have to admit I'm Ford through and through, but I can admit GM has got a winner in the Z06. Haha, but if you wanna compare 2 seaters try Z06 vs. Ford GT

By the way Dave, I'm pretty sure when you say exhaust you mean a cat back. Full length headers, hi-flo cat x-pipe, and a cat back setup brought in 72 rwhp alone on both our cars. There was also an article in MM&FF about it about 2 years ago for more proof that it is possible. Open that bad boy up I promise you will not be dissappointed in the power and god o'mighty it will sound wicked.

A stock GTO has never in any magazine comparison or at any of my local dragstrips come anywhere near touching an 03+ Cobra. It simply weighs way too much. Now your talking about breaking out aftermarket blowers. Put a Kenne Bell on that Cobra and its goodbye GTO. A full exhaust on the 03+ will net 75+ hp to the REAR WHEELS. Do some research. At my local drags the GTOs are pulling 8.9s consistently on the 1/8th. 8.4 was the fastest I have seen and that was with exhaust mods and a blower. I have yet to see any cobra no matter how terrible the driver run slower than 8.4. That guy on base just can't drive end of story. The GTO is a cool concept I wish Ford would have continued and upgraded the Marauder. Sorry for the long post I just couldn't listen to ppl trash the Cobra. Im a Ford guy but c'mon I'm not going to sit here and say the Z06 is slow but c'mon the GTO just isnt in the same class as a Cobra it should be compared to a Charger now thats a fair comparison.
amen to that
