Dang, you guys worry about the shine on your dirt bikes?...LOL!

not rely going for super finish but more the color being correct, like the white being white without deep groves/scratches and the green being green not a dull white etc.
and also i feel like i want to look after this bike unlike the previous owners.

With that heavy amount of crash damage scratches, you might be better off smoothing out the imperfections as best you can then use that flat vinyl sticker material you can buy at motorcycle parts stores. A lot easier than trying sand it smooth once again.
I made templates then cut it out the clear sheet sticker, that example isn’t clear but you get the idea of the vinyl available.
