An Adventure tear tack showed up. Not a bad design.
Bolted up sweet n easy
I pulled apart the fcr35 but the float valve needle was stuck inside the seat. Removal was successful after soaking in various products including Coca Cola, pb blaster, wd40, automatic transmission fluid mixed w acetone, liquid wrench.
Stock cvk and fcr35 pumper, both Keihin carbs

Unfortunately the GPR stabilizer is for street bikes, and valving is different for off road. Basically off road units modulate swinging off center/straight but return to center with no resistance. Unlike street bike stabilizers. Going to pull my Scotts off for my friend since the other husky isn’t running currently. All is needed is the handle bar clamp/stabilizer mount and the weld on tower. Manana.
Got the cvk rejetted correctly started it but didn’t ride it yet, owner will tomorrow.
Ordered parts for the Keihin fcr35. This carb runs nicely on the klx 250 or big bore. 12 possible flat tires.
Got the cvk jetted correctly and the bike is alive now. Tomorrow the owner will take it for a ride.
Ordered the repair parts for the Four Stroke Works Keihin fcr35. Jerry did a great job dialing in this carb.

The gal took her bike home for the weekend n ride around, said it ran great. But it couldn’t beat her bfs wr250r. She knows how my klx ran. She was all for the big bore kit.
Got the bike back n tore it down. The Q4 did singe the right side blinker, so ill address that. Made a mild steel plate to weld the stabilizer tower to first then weld the plate to the frame running two weld beads on the sides. The towers bottom mount had a radius to take off and angled the mount to the angle of the frame. Klx frame dips in between the frame rails which was one reason to use the plate the other is ease of removing it in the future grinding two straight beads off.
I told the gal about a ride held in November, to watch the vids LAB2V. She wants to do it. Long rides two days, she will appreciate the stabilizer. Radiator guards too. Mocking it up. There’s more room available with the ims tank vs stock.
Yes the stabilizer arm is sitting on the black part of the pin. When the bars are installed there’s the 1/16”+ clearance.
Tank goes on no problem. There’s more room to work with than stock tank. I was gonna be lazy and mig weld it, wouldn’t have to take off the upper triple clamp/plastic stem brg cover. Just do one bead then cool it with air compressor n repeat. But I’ll take it apart n grease the head brgs too.
I’ll tig weld it then.
