KLX250s Front Brake Rotor, Wanted
#2
KLX300 rotors fit too, but may need to drill drill the rotor holes to fit. The 300 uses 6mm bolts where the 09 250 uses 8mm bolts.
The thing is the 300 rotors can be had relatively low cost compared to the original equipment petal cut rotor. I have KLX300 rotors front and back. I have a spare front I got for $20 on ebay, around $40 isn't uncommon. The petal cut is usually approaching $100 and no real benefit other than looks.
Better buy, minimal work to fit - drilling holes out.

I actually have a KLX300 rotor I was planning to use. But, when I started to make the change I realized the bolt holes were smaller and did not have the step-down shape that the stock rotor does. The KLX300 rotor has beveled countersinks. I suppose they might work if you could find 8mm bevel headed bolts.
Thanks for the tip.
What did you do about the countersink?

Thanks again for the tip. I found them on line as well, and need to measure their length to be sure of the size. The bolts aren't too bad, but with $7.50 minimum postage they come to over $3 a piece. It would be an extraordinary hardware store that would stock these bolts! Stainless, oval head, metric. Right.

I prefer zinc coated fasteners over stainless., The zinc coated fasteners won't seize up like stainless can if not coated with anti-seize.
I would think you should be able to get those parts I posted at any Fastenal by the piece since that is how they're priced, at $0.39 each plus any tax. There shouldn't be any shipping unless you get priority on the shipment. Get them when they come in (usually a week or less depending on what location they come from) and you pay no shipping.
Fastenal also carries numbered bearings that will fit along with seals.

Rotor
Yes, that sounds reasonable.
I've sent you a PM regarding.
Just want to make sure it's an OEM part and does fit my bike.
Thanks.
