Default 1981 KZ750E (4 cyl) Engine Parts

Hello, I'm tearing down the engine from my old KZ750 and I'd like to sell the parts to anyone interested. Will pull any part you need, just give me a description or part number and I'll find it. I have had good success with my ultrasonic parts cleaner and wire brushes to clean the parts without marring surfaces.

I'll create a list of what I've sold below (if anything). If anyone knows what parts from this engine are compatible with other years/models and would be kind enough to reply to this post with that info, please do so!

Thanks

Hi, I just picked up a 1983 KZ750LTD cam shaft. I am interested in your offer. I expect to start taking the engin apart in the coming weeks. I gather form the previous owner that the cylinders and pistons may need to be replaced. I will contact you once I open it up and see what I am working with...

I will, as soon as I start the tear down! Where are you located? Just thinking of shipping cost and logistics.

Thanks, I am in Toronto, in the province of Ontario in Canada. We'll have to figure out the best way to ship across the border!🙂

Default Correction. My bike is a ZN750a not a Kz750LTD.

Hi there. I have started the teardown and am now stuck on trying to getbthe carb assembly out. Can you help?

Hi! Is it stuck in the boots? First get the airbox out, then they are quite snug into the engine side boots but rock them enough and they'll come out.
