For Sale in Atlanta Georgia - a better than brand new 2009 KLX250s – with less than 400 miles on it.

This bike was bought for the wife, with the intention of doing some trail and street riding. We spared no effort or expense in setting this bike up properly. However, after all the time, effort and expense the wife decided that she really doesn’t want to ride, hence the low mileage. So our loss is your gain.

Some of the various modifications recommended on many websites, and from other KLX250 owners, has been done to this bike - such as:

Air Box snorkel removed
Crankcase breather modification
Full Muzzy exhaust system
Dyno jet kit installed – with Dyno test completed before and after mods (horsepower increase of over 35% - I have the printout) The bike runs much better now than stock.
Front and Rear sprocket changed out for better overall gearing
Utah Moto Sports Skid Plate
Pelican hard travel case
Replaced original knobby tires with new Dual sport tires
Kouba link lowering kit (stock height was a little too high for the wife)
Brush handle grip guards from Acerbis

All original items (tires, exhaust, suspension links, sprockets, etc) are included in the sale and will go with the bike - and are not for sale separately.

I have the original receipt from the purchase of the bike, which = $5247
I don’t have the receipts from the various mods and other items – but from memory, they total well over $1200 just for the items themselves – not including the labor costs.

So we have over $6500 invested in this bike.
I’m willing to take a $2000 loss and offer the bike at $4500.

Please note that I am not in a hurry, nor do I need to sell the bike - so no low ballers or scammers please.
No will I ship the bike to Nigeria or Iraq.

This bike is really like new - but actually better.
It is not even broke in yet, and will get 50+ MPG.

I can assist with delivery in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding area.
I have a totally clear title in hand and the two original keys.

Finally - please refrain from contacting me for advice or for vendor/source info about the added parts or other items that have been done to this bike. (such emails are becoming overwhelming)
