Deciding to put my beloved KLX on the market. A difficult decision to make but don't have the ability to enjoy it as much as I once did. Bike has approximately 2,550 easy miles and is entirely stock other than the professionally installed aftermarket FMF exhaust. Enthusiast owned and all required maintenance performed by authorized Kawasaki Dealership (MAXX Motorsports Darien, WI). I purchased an extended G.T.P.P from Kawasaki that was valid rough 10/13 but I never needed to use it.
I am the second owner of the bike and it was never abused or taken off road. 5 mile round trip commute in town is all the bike ever saw other than the occasional 50 mile weekend country rides with my dad. Always warmed up before every ride and never beat on. Tires are in great shape, has never been dumped and is cosmetically near perfect condition. Brand new battery and spark plug were recently installed. Bike has only ever had premium, ethanol free fuel and Kawasaki oil used. Extremely well cared for. Bike would be a perfect candidate for a big bore conversion or just keep it the way it is. FMF Power Core 4 Muffler and Mega Bomb header installed. Will include the following with sale: Spare oem mirrors, complete rear lower fender with tail lamp and turn signals original header pipe, oem toolbag and tools, luggage rack, brand new grips, owners manual as well as any documentation I have to go along with it. Note shown is the bike with the Moose Racing Soft Luggage Bags. I don't plan to sell them but may consider it at time of sale. More photos available by request.
