Default 2006 KLX250 D-Tracker motard - Houston

This is a 2006 D-Tracker, the Japan market KLX250SF with 17" wheels and sticky sport bike tires. I imported this when I moved back from Japan but I cannot get a title for it because it has a Japanese VIN and does not meet DOT or EPA requirements. TX plate and registration good until December.

This was my urban commuter in Tokyo - jumping curbs, whipping through traffic, and parking on sidewalks every day. A total blast for commuting. I also used to slab it to a 1km track in the mountains, two hours each way at 80mph - I'd get to the track, take the topcase and mirrors off and run it all day. Awesome bike for the twisties!

$1500.

14000 kms / 8600 miles
DynoJet 2152 Stage 2
Goodridge braided steel brake lines
Zeta aluminum bars
Acerbis front fender
DRZ Edge tail light
Brake fluid replaced 2011
Coolant replaced 2011
New battery 2011

Rack and hand guards available separately. Pit stand included.

In the garage in Tokyo

VIN (biggest issue), headlight, exhaust, KPH speedometer.

You can swap everything to a US titled frame and be good to go for cheap!
