so when are you going to take an old set of rubbers, put screws through it from the inside, cover the screwes with duct tapeand put it on the bike with an inner tube?

Glad to hear you doing OK. I am curious? is your bike the only transportation you have? why dont you just drive the cage when the weather is like this? Ya! you got damm lucky not bent or broken pegs, brake or clutch handles. Damm Lucky!!!
No I could drive this:

But as someone on the forum pointed out, its kind of dumb driving a huge truck 2 miles to the office, and so I take the bike every day I can, but I suppose I will start plugging in the truck so its all nice and warm when I start it in the frozen temps. I hate driving my truck to work for two reasons, which are really one reason, its too expensive. When a diesel is cold, it gets close to half the MPG. My truck isn't even warm when I pull in to the parking lot at work. The other reason is I just filled up the truck, $120.00 and the longer I leave it in the driveway, the cheaper it is.

Well I used to have a 10,000 lb 28 ft fifth wheel trailer. And while I don't have anything huge to haul right now, I am not going to get rid of this truck with only 16 payments left. I didn't buy the truck because I planned on hauling anything, the fifth wheel trailer came later. I do help people out all the time pulling stuff, and I'm glad to help. I bought the truck for the motor. Blue book is $4000 morefor this truck with the diesel, and for good reason.

Fuel was cheaper then, and while I can't predict what will happen in the future with fuel prices, I can with some sort of certainty say that this is the last truck I am buying period. Maintenance on a diesel is practically zero compared to a gas engine. No sensors to go bad, no emissions garbage to plug up, no wiring and no plugs to go bad. Oh sure if something does go wrong, it will cost a bundle, but at 117,00 miles I will hopefully be on the same motor with 5 times that mileage. Maybe wishful thinking. But I'm not going into debt buying another truck ever again, I am so done with payments. For real this time. Oh here is a picture I dug up from a couple of years ago. And really who knows maybe I'll find a great deal on a toy hauler someday, with super low payments, after the car, truck, kawi and the Yamaha are paid off.

Unless this guy wants to trade me straight across, then I might consider.
