ticket question

RE: ticket question
No worries GR.... Just be nice to the judge, dont act like your not trying to pay for the ticket or own up to responsibility for the accident. But at the same time tell him you dont want to mess your record up with a poorly written ticket either... Most judges are resonably fair depending on the nature of the ticket and your presence in court.... Remember you are a law abiding citizen...

RE: ticket question
Sounds like you will not have a prob with that ticket....
Old story: An aquatance of mine got arrested for doing a drive by. They dropped the ticket, because the officer that wrote the ticket put the VIN number down incorrectly. Go figure, huh.....
Anyway, good luck man....

RE: ticket question
My story may not pertain here, but it does kinda fit in a loop hole.
In the 80's, Oregon mandated a helmet law. When I rode the sportbike, always wore a helmet. But seldom did I wear one on the HD. Anyhows, decided on a HD cruise and attached my helmet to my shoulder strap. I got pulled over that day and was written up with not wearing a helmet. Of course I told him, yes I was....... Court day, I had pulled up the ORS and approached the judge. ORS states you have to wear protective head gear. Not were to wear the protective head gear. Needless to say, the courtroom was busting a gut and I got a warning.
But I don't think you need a loop hole in your case.

RE: ticket question
OK GOT RICE.... SINCE I AM IN PA ALSO AND HAVE GOTTEN MANY TICKETS MYSELF I KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS. NONSTOCK WAS RIGHT THAT IF HE WASNT THERE THERE IS NO INFRACTION. ACCIDENTS CAUSED BY DEER ARE KNOW AS NON ACCIDENTS CAUSE BY STUPID ANIMALS. REGARDLESS OF ALL THAT ANY TICKET RECIEVED IN PA AND FOUGHT GOES TO DISTRIC COURT. THERE YOU CAN TALK TO THE COP BEFORE HAND IF HE IS COOL... IF NOT DONT TALK TO HIM AND TELL THE JUDGE MORE THAN LIKELY YOU WILL GET OFF....THIS IS IF THE COP EVEN SHOWS UP. ... AND IF THINGS STILL DONT WORK OUT THE WAY YOU WANT FOR 45.00 YOU REAPPEAL IT AND IT GOES TO COUNTY COURT. AT COUNTY COURT YOU GO AGAINST THE DA AND THEY HAVE ABOUT 50 HEARINS TOGETHER... THE MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE MISDIMEANERS<-(SP) OR MINOR FELONYS, THEY DONT WASTE TIME FOR TRAFFIC TICKETS, THEY ASK YOU WHAT YOU WANT AND THATS WHAT THEY GIVE YOU. IE I DID NOTHING WRONG! SEE YA BYE
TRUST ME I HAVE PLENTY OF TICKETS AND I HAVE HAD NO POINTS FOR 5 YEARS

They gave you a ticket for hitting a deer? [sm=dontgetit.gif] If that's the case G - you should pack up and move here - I have never heard of anyone getting ticketed for hitting a deer.

The last one we hit, wouldn't have been any good for the BBQ!!! Lets put it this way, Chevy half ton with 33's and a plow blade on the front - poor thing had no chance! At least the 'debris' got cleared off the road.

Gotta get some revenge!
