Default shoot!

I forgot to put Stablizer in my bike, well I'm going to do it this weekend. Now my question, do I have to take a ride around the block to get it thru or can I just start up my bike and run it thru idling?

I agree with srobak, especially since thats what i did. although i went a step further and syphoned my tank into a gas can to mix the fuel stabilizer in. theni rn it for about 10mins revving it up (i think my neghbors dont like me anymore) LOL

LD all you need to do is put it in the tank shake it for a few and your good. Don't even need to run the bike!!!!!!!!!!

So you are assuming they liked you to begin with?

I would disagree about not running it. Remember bad gas eats rubber hoses... by running it, you purge the gas already in the lines and replace it with stabilized gas.

once again i have to agree with Srobak. You definately want to run the stabilized gas through all the lines so it doesnt seperate.

I also agree that you have to run it. You can actually smell it in the exhaust when it starts to burn. Thats when you know your good to go. I just did mine today after a nice cold 25 degree 2 mile ride. Boy i miss riding!!!!

Hey Girl, Yes I would def. run it. you want it to run through your carbs as well. What's the point of putting the sta-bil in if your not going to get it through the entire bike. Let the bike warm up real good and then rev it a few times to make sure you are getting it into the carbs. You should be good to go. Hey Are you going to make it to Americade this year? Would love to meet up and go for a ride
