Here's a couple of pics of my dad's car. A before and a half done pic. Dad has had this car for 21 years total. He's replaced the motor twice, the tranny once. Almost the entire under carriage is brand new. So, now it's exterior time. It's coming along pretty good. It's a 71 mustang, 302 bored .60 over, mild cam, etc.... I think he loves his car more than his sons!! lol

wouldn't you lol. one of my relatives is got a 67(i think) swinger with a 360 and a 4 on the floor, holly hell does that car fly.

 

It's amazing how fast some of those old boys will go. Those cars were solid metal back in the day. That mustang of dad's weighs twice as much as a late model 305 camaro I used to have, and his car would walk off and leave me!! Just not right.

Ya, when dad goes, hopefully not for a long time, I will kick my brothers a$$ so I can have that car!! lol lol

 

i hear ya. whats odd now is for a while cars got lighter and more powerful, but lately they've been putting on a lot of weight. hell the new charger weigh's like 2tons. got to love the old cars, no emmisions, you can do ANY of the work yourself with hand tools.

 

ya i love old cars, we have this huge car cruise here every year and its incredible what you see come out. i feel bad for my dad tho cuz we walk through it telling me bout all the cars he used to own that are there
