Alright... on the car pix - how is it possible that any single one of those people thought it was actually a good idea to take their low-slung, rear wheel drive, performance STREET MACHINES to those locations? Judas priest.

Here is one I took at the beginning of the summer, its a Flicker in the Woodpecker family. He flew into a window at work and sat there for a couple of hours, we thought he wasn't going to make it, and luckily we has a resident biologist here visiting, and he suggested getting some pedialyte and an eye dropper. Well after a few minutes we got him to fly. That is his tongue, and from what I have read about these birds the tongue wraps around their brains when it retracted, kind of like an air hose reel. Pretty weird. Anyway that's about as random as you can get.
