just when i finishes my t maxx 2.5 they came out with the 3.3. bastards [8D]luckaly its the same platform, just a bigger motor so all i gotta do is upgrade the go box seen the traxxas slash yet ? things bad *** man. like a real pro truck. i put the venilion brushless in mine with a 7 cell nimh and its plenty fast [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Can you do the 4-wheel drive and reverse gear both in?

I need to get pictures, but I have an S-Maxx with the 3.3 in it. Picked it up two weeks ago for $150 with some fuel and extra stuff.

kick *** deal, what do you mean 4wd and reverse gear both in ???? you mean with the 2 motor set up ?

 

I know you can add a 4WD gear, or there's a reverse gear for it. I just wasn't sure if you could do both.

I'd just do the 4WD if I can only add one, but I'll do both if it's possible. I was also thinking of getting a wheelie bar because I've had it flip on its back a few times from the power. Exhaust may be a possibility, but expensive at $55. I'm sure it would make a large difference with the 3.3 engine. I'm just using the pull-start right now, but I'd rather keep that and spend money on another upgrade than upgrade to the EZ start.

Oh, and I'll get a picture of my Definitive Technology speakers when I set everything up in my new apartment. Paid $345 for two floor-standing speakers and a center channel, which is less than the retail cost of the center channel. (Shh... vendor employee accomodation. $1100 MSRP)

 

i think youll need a new tranny as well. it might not be worth it to convert it. if you go with a reverse, youll need a tranny, the stock one is more of a direct drive 2 speed forward only type deal, a servo and a 3 channel radio plus the hardware for it all.
