Hey now, don't be ******* on my oppo Sro!IDK, maybe the HD-DVD player does scale better. I've never seen the two compared side by side. But on my 60", the oppo 980HD upscaled to 1080p, and going through HDMI looks absolutely amazing.I never knew regular DVDs could look so good.[8D]

RE: THE RANDOM PICTURE THREAD
Guess it is very random..
We went crabbing this weekend. As soon as we were done we threw the rest of the bait in the water and was about to leave. This lil snake was sitting under the grass the whole time we was there and never showed his self once. UNTILL the bait hit the water. Then he cam out grab one up and hauled *** with it. Was cool to watch him getting his mouth around the shad. You see it in the zoo and on TV but I guess seeing it in the wild was neat..Look close and you can see the shad in his mouth

RE: THE RANDOM PICTURE THREAD
Went to stick one out that came back from service the other day, but it had power issues, so had to wrap it back up and send it out. Very light TVs, unlike the huge Mitsubishi monsters on wheels. Those ones with the MDF construction are junk, and the lighter 73" TVs are still a huge chunk. I get to play with tons of TVs. We carry Pioneer, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, Mitsubishi, LG, and Hitachi. We have the new 11" XEL-1 OLED Sony TV that costs $2500 at our store. Ultra thin, but the technology isn't cheap enough yet. Its contrast ratio is so high it is unmeasureable by current equipment. The new thin Hitachi is cool for how thin they are, but that's because it only has an HDMI and I think a VGA input. Samsung and Sony are the best-selling LCDs we have. Panasonic and Samsung are our best-selling plasmas. Rear-pro is anyone's game.
