If i had a ZX14 i would probably putt around and never go above 5k Thats more displacement than a 4cyl subaru wagon.

5000 RPMs on a 14 ain't puttin' It'll put you close to 100mph in top gear.

As far as the 636, it's bad ***. Probably the best 6 I've ridden. I'm not sure I would recommend it for a first bike...you would have to be too careful with little road experience. The ZZR 600 is a nice first bike. It has plenty of power, and is somewhat more forgiving of inexperience.

yeah mang i totally agree with the po-po, At your age and little road time I would stay smaller CC 250 is to small but 500 or 600 sound about right,, good luck mang

Wow, the burnout agreeing with the "po-po"...guess I must be right!

I work for monster in the summer very seldomnly now because of football. But I work at a beer distributor almost everyday.
