have you tried KBC? there not as light as shoei or aria, but lighter then HJC for the money..... 152.00 for the KBC.... the top one was my HJC.... and the bottom one is my KBC...

what helmet do you prefer out of the 2 mk ?

 

i really like the KBC..... the vents on top works really well.... and it's not just for looks.... it's a tad noiser then the HJC.... but i'll take that over the weight of the HJC..... before i bought the KBC i went for a 200 mile ride with about 20 other guys, my neck and my head was hurting after i got home... i did about the same amount of distance with the KBC and i was fine.....

 

and you say its around 152.00 bucks ? i might look into one, i bought a hjc, i really like the fit of the hjc's on my head but the vents do suck on them along with the lack of a breath gard to prevent fogging, and they dont offer one.

what kind of HJC do you have? cause for the CL14 they do offer a breathe box for the helmet..... it works really good.... i kinda wish they made one for the KBC.... the bereather box attaches to tthe helmet from the lower vents and velco on the upper part on the breathe box.... KBC has something like the a deflector which is ok when your moving.... so i took my other breathe guard from my other HJC helmet and modified it to fit the KBC....
