well it was a good morning. i started out the day feeling good. my co-worker meets me at my house. we both get on our bikes to go to work. i get on the on ramp, like i do every morning. but today, i guess my tires were still cold. i leaned the bike to the left to get on the on ramp and the rear tire slides out.[:@] i must of been going about 20 on the turn. and the next thing i know, i'm seeing the road rub up against my helmet. [:@]and i watch my bike side about 30 ft.
i get up missing one of my shoes and my bike laying on its side.[&o] my buddy helps me pick her up and thank god it's not as bad as it looks.[&:]some scratches on the side, missing my side mirror witch i couldn't fine. and a bent shift lever. over all the bike is ok and i'm okay. thank god i was also geared up. a chp motor cop pulls up next to me and asked if i was ok. at the same time he had a **** a$$ grin on his face. well anyway it really helps to gear up. ride safe everyone. everyone falls but, always protected yourselvies. Sad kaw....

That sucks, I am so glad that you are okay! Bikes can be replaced, Mad Kaws cannot! Glad to hear that the damage isn't too bad though. Don't be a Sad Kaw - you are okay, the bike isn't too bad. Here's a hug, [sm=smiley31.gif]!
