I always prefer bed and breakfasts...... If you're not dead set on Myrtle Beach city limits a great place is Sea View Inn.....reasonable prices, on the ocean, no crowds and time to show your girl ya luv her

Here's a link to their website..... I think the're 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach proper. Give em a call I recommend them. It's alow key fancy barefoot paradise. You get ocean dunes on one side and a salt marsh on the other. No nightlife thou.

http://seaviewinn.com/

It's not fancy like a Marriot but you get great sunrises.....PS 3 Meals a day are included in room rate and it's good, check the menu. .

Not sure what Myrtle is like this time of year, but every time I've been it is PACKED. Hardly a place to spread a towel. I prefer about a hundred thousand less people.

When i go to myrtle i always get a bottom room so i can pull my bike into it, that way nobody can steal anything off of it
I had parts takin off mine from the guys that have smashed theirs up showing off for the hotties.

Myrtle is ok...been there a few times. But the outer banks are better IMHO. I don't know if they are closer for you.
