I have been using the McAfee site advisor for a while now, and must say that this web security tool is one of the best downloads you can get for your computer. It doesn't cost anything at all, and being that it comes from one of the largest antivirus companies, you know you can rely on it. The tool is very simple to use. anytime you do a search on the web, you either see a small green check mark for good sites, or a small red X for sites with harmful downloads, or phishing sites and so on. You can even check the reason the site is marked red.

Give it a try. especially if you use windows. I know It's saved me a few times from clicking on a bad website or link.

 

I agree with ya there! I recently bought the full McAfee virus protection software.........its awesome!

 

I just use the free stuff, I format my drives to often to worry much about viruses
