Everytime I wanna buy some new part for my bike, I always get this response from my dad "whats so good about that? why do you need it?" So when I mentioned i wanted new Vortex rear sets, he asked the question, and to be honest, I was stumped...I just like the way they look...but do they really serve a better purpose than the stock ones?? and what is it?

 

an easy way to dump 400+ bucks...they're supposed to be lighter, stronger and on some you can adjust the position of them. You can piant the originals and send me the 400 bucks...

 

just tell him this. with the full adjustability, i can taylor the foot position to better suite me and my riding style. also the solid mount pegs serve as a slider, or at least something solid for the bike to slide on in the event of a fall. another plus, you can move the pegs up so you increase your lean angle. and yes they look bad *** compared to stock. another plus. the way the pegs are knurled, your feet stick to the pegs, not like the stockers that your feet slide off of easily. bamm take that pops.

 

adjustability my friend. but if the stock sets are comfortable then they may not be worth the money. for me the stock rear brake pedal is not low enough and i cant ride comfortably with my foot covering the rear brake so a set is on the list of to-do's this summer.

Unfortunatly no, work is good.... The motor in the 4x4 cage decided to
chek out... So I stuffed it into my garage ( like puttin 10lbs of s#it in a
2lbs bag).... Puttin a modafied 360 in her... should be pushin around
400 hp.. Thats what has my time tied up.... but when its done, you punks
betta watch out.... Cause " I'll be back"


Oh and I also put my a$$ on a big time diet... 3 weeks lost 14lbs...
