hahaha, it is just a lube. No need on shorting out the electrical while doing it.

my key was acting a bit like that when i bought the bike - but i noticed that the key had become a bit twisted. so i untwisted it and its smooth like silk now.

Hmm that could be whats wrong. Thats another reason I'm going to get a spare. My key was bent pretty good when I had my acident last year I bent it back in shape and it was fine. Just recently it started giving me trouble.
