I don't know how big the storage compartment is on the 09...I would leave the belt in the locker and get yourself a shoulder holster that you can wear under a jacket...something secure enough that it won't fall out and it doesn't get in the way...

I rode it yesterday to and from my grandma's and she lives on a dirt road. It was raining about 3/4 of the time there and none on the way back, luckily. The road was prettyyy muddy but I made my boyfriend take it to the pavement for me on the way home. because I knew I would drop it because it'd slide or something...

 

remember to never fixate on the ground or that's where you will go...also never lock up the rear...you lose control that way...to get use to ridin' in the rain find an empty parkin' lot and wait till it has been raining a bit so the oils from the ground have been washed away...practice brakin' and downshiftin' ...

 

! Yeah, I did surprisingly well. Impressed the boyfriend too, which is always fun ;]

 

sitting here planning this weekends grilling...saturday is for the family - smoky chicken drumettes, memphis in may ribs, corn on the cob, ****y grilled fries, and a wood fired apple pecan pie... ...Sunday is for our friends - ****y maple grilled wings, honey butter sweet potatoes, ranch beans, and the pie for dessert...not sure what the meat will be...maybe a big ol' burger all done up or just a good ol ribeye with a dry rub!!!

Now I'm hungry!!! Only a bottle of water and a banana in front of me until I get home
