spaceballs and the like are a mix of slapstick, puns, and whitty humor.
all the chris farly movies are slapstick and humorous verbal abuse from david spade. not sure exactly how to describe the sandler movies aside from funny.

Except for the cartoon movie...it was lame. Chuck and Larry had its moments, but was a little too...errr....."alternative lifestyle inclined" for me.

 

I can't belive no one has said spinal tap yet. That is a funny movie.
