I feel like whoring it up
RE: I feel like whoring it up
For a one time investment of $2000 and a month out of their life can go to an approved NORA oil heating school and graduate, can expect to start out at around 18 to 20 and hour.Once you learn it, it's no longer a job it's a career and you can have a very nice comfortable life without working hard

hahaha, pulled the shop vac into a res. today, LP furnace. Fricking thing was all sooted up. Ignition boom issues. Poof, soot from the shop vac hits the wall! ug! Readjusted manifold pressure after cleaning, and off I go. The woman was cool about it though even if I left a slight smudge mark of soot.
RE: I feel like whoring it up
ha.. that sucks
lol
she was probably just happy she had heat!
the first house i lived in had an oil-burner from like, 1921..lol
it boomed and smoked all the time. the ignitor was shorting out from time to time, and oil would spray all over the inside of the plenum, and finally, when it ignited, there'd be a hellacious fireball and just general scariness.
always kept an extinguisher handy for that rotten s.o.b.
worked about 20% of the time.
i'd get home and the house would be 35 degrees.
