Vic is cool with everyone I think, but rocketman is just one of those dudes who it is easy to dislike.

Anyway I wouldnt built a helo right off, might start with an autogyro and work your way up. Helo trainingis way too expensive because of the high maintnence costs, our piston powered 2 seat Scweitzer 300C's run like $300 an hour plus instructor, which is more than our twin engine Seminoles with glass cockpits. Either way it would be best to start off getting your private in a fixed wing, save you money in the long run, especially if you find out you just arent cut out for it.
