Putting the street ride together. drooling over the rim decisions, yadyada. Read that you did not have an exciting adventure over there.

Not in the least... it was more boring than usual. Didn't even get to kill anything.

I'm pretty sure timewarner is going to be sending me a notice here soon saying that I'm exceeding their bandwidth limits! I've really been nerding it up on my computer, looking for a good way to keep files automatically synced between my desktop and laptop. I found a program called foldershare that microsoft bought out a couple of years ago, and offer it free of charge. It works like a personal P2P network, and is supposed to always keep a folder between several computers synced. I'm starting the sync on my music folder for now. Hopefully, by tomorrow, both computers will have identical music files on them. Amazingly, (or not) it can keep multiple computers synced (mac and/or PC) anywhere you have an internet connection. I mainly chose this program since I'll be adding a Mac within the next few months, or whenever the next Macbook pros come out. (Probably Febuary.)

I'm gussing nobody here gives a crap what I just wrote, but I'm happy about it.

I like having a desktop for most of my nerd needs, but the laptop sure is nice to take along with you! The only problem is (or was) keeping information up to date on both machines.

I have to have a laptop, because I'm not dragging a desktop with me everywhere I go.
