If you have an external hard drive, use windows backup and only backup your docs and settings to the external hard drive. Then do a full reformat of the computer's main hdd. You shouldn't loose a thing.

I have a mem stick but is only like 512. Each manual is over that for the most part.
The restore is not solving my starting issues, nor the ide issues. Manager is saying that things are up and fine, BS.
