RE: I feel like whoring it up
Might even go to bed-bath and beyond... I don't know if we'll have time!
RE: I feel like whoring it up
Exactly...LOL
RE: I feel like whoring it up
That's what I feel like when I'm at home.
RE: I feel like whoring it up
It was tough for me to get back to that "normalcy" when I got back. Just some freindly FYI.
RE: I feel like whoring it up
Yeah, I know how that goes. I dealt with it once already when I got home from Korea. My middle son was just starting to stand up on his own when I left. By the time I got home, he had a mouth full of teeth, and he was running everywhere.
RE: I feel like whoring it up
True...but Korea was a peacetime assignment...just like being home minus the family. I never had to kill anyone or worry about being killed in Korea. Iraq was....different.
RE: I feel like whoring it up
Towards the end of OIF 1 when we got the internet and phones it made things easier though, that probably makes it much better now. I know what ypou mean about the kids too, my second daughter was born in May '03, I got back in Mar '04. That was weird
RE: I feel like whoring it up
Yeah, I know exactly the feeling you're talking about. I'm just dreading the day when I get home and a car drives by my house and backfires.
RE: I feel like whoring it up
Even being in traffic used to be stressful, and being unarmed reallymade me uncomfortable. I bought a pistola few days after I got back. Atfer a while things got better though. I stopped carrying the pistol and figured I would just beat someone if they deserved it. One thing that has always stayed with me is watching hands instead of facesin a crowd, I still don't like being around alot of people that I don't know. But who does?
