DANG IT!!!!! After 7 years, I finally pay off my truck a few months ago, and I get my first break down. I developed a fuel leak on the banjo nut and finding some washers is like pulling teeth around here. GRRRRRRR

7 Years without a breakdown though....can't say that about chev or ford (i've owned all three)

Before anyone jumps on me though, they are all junk. Anyone that knows trucks knows this.

Deejer, I recommend a gently used Land Rover Discovery 1. All the off-road cred you could want, LOGICALLY assembled (parts are accessible and where they BELONG), and excellent aftermarket support. Not the greatest fuel mileage, but solid, solid trucks. Trust me; you would enjoy one.....
Hope you find some washers!

They have those washers at O-reily's, think you have to ask for them tho, they were not on the floor when we got them.

Deej, stay the hell away from German stuff. Positively illogical design and impossible to work on. (Hmmm, that being said, makes me have 2nd thoughts about those 1200GS Bimmers. ??)
Seriously, Rovers make SENSE mechanically; you would love one. Just get a pre-2000,
and not a Disco-2; head gasket issues, air $u$pension and "3 Amigos" (affectionately termed) issues with ABS, hill descend control, and traction control. Range Rover Classics are OK; very similar in build to the Discovery 1. V-8, coil sprung, and built like tanks.
I'll shut up now.....
