lol, Arrows might not take down those jackrabbits you got up north, I saw some so big the arrows might bounce off.

Not with these babies! Grim reaper broad heads. Mechanical broad heads, they open up on impact to nearly 2 inch diameter.

Closed (these are the ones I have, with the razor blade on the tip as well!!)

Open

Now before someone comes in here and tells me how cruel I am and they hope I die (yup, it's happened) go watch "Food Inc" and tell me which meat you prefer after

Or "Earthlings." There is no humane way to kill something, but as long as you dont intentionally torture them, I got no problems (it ruins the flavor)

I agree with prom. I'm all for hunting and getting some good free range food.

you have more respect for what you're eating too when you take it from the wild yourself, I find anyway.

Tastes way better too, not fed with corn or other un-natural garbage to make them bigger.

Ted Nugent wrote a very good book called Blood Trails 2: The Truth About Bowhunting. While he does go off on a bit of a rant more than once (which is hilarious reading by the way) he makes very good sense.

On of my fave articles from uncle Ted:

If eating animals was so wrong then God shouldn't have made them out of meat. LOL

I think it would be tough to transport meat, probably have to do a ton of paper work....and would probably be rancid by the time it got to you!

That's also if i can even get an Elk, they are huge but are like friggin ghosts!
I don't mean to sound like a coon *** or anything but where I am living now, by my parents, you can trap a hog in your yard. lol

We go out in the bayou a lot of the times to get the bigger hogs. The thing about killing them is that you better have the one shot one kill philosophy because they will charge you if you don't kill it with the first shot.

Hogs are great when you have a party where you need to feed a lot of people. They taste very similar to pig meat.
