there's no way it will heal on its own over time??? DG is avoiding the surgery...she's had one out of three disks heal on its own so far... ...Good luck and speedy recovery!!!

Good luck Hoe. My wife had major back surgery last spring. She's got lots of hardware now, fused something like T4 - L1 or something like that. 12 inch scar. Was a long time before she felt like she was relatively back to normal. Hers was due to scoliosis - curvature of the spine and was largely successful, she had a great doctor.

Hope yours works out, HD. Good luck to DG, too. I've got a disk that gives me problems every so often. It's definitely no fun. I almost passed out from the pain one time. Not fun at all.

We had a family friend who has had that same surgery hoey. He has since made a full recovery and was able to physically excell in the police academy. I want to say itis about a year or so for a full recovery. I remember him having to wear a C collar for the longest.

Have a working bro that had that done. My age group as well. So we pick the apprentices to rope up the new 200lb compressers 30-40 ft to the roof.

In other words, be carefull and good luck.

Brutal man, we will be thinking of you during that time....and probably making up a bunch of lies about you too. LOL Seriously we wish you all the best for a successful procedure and recovery.
