I agree with zwild. I've been over at proshooter for a while now, too, and it's a cool place. And just a thought: how hard is it to draw when wearing gear? Well, a jacket, anyway. Anyone practiced that one??

I'm a Kimber fan myself
I'm a Kimber fan myself
My backup/off duty carry was a Kimber Ultra Carry.... 1911, 45, 3.5in "Chief's Model Colt", 7+1. Carried IWB SOB (yes - both at the same time) when off duty, and under my right armpit (I shoot left) while on duty. Our uniforms were zippered with faux buttons - so it was easy to get to... unzip with right hand, draw with left. Never needed to, thankfully. But Kimber is absolutely, 100% my favorite gun - it is how a stock gun should be... wonderful triggers.
My duty carry was a Taurus PT92 Stainless - I chose it over the Beretta 92 because of stock trigger feel, location of safety (on frame instead of slide - one-handed operation) which was also located on both sides, and the warranty was better than Beretta - although I never needed it. Great gun and it looked very sharp.
