They said it can take down ANY kind of game....

Ya, I saw the price on teh bullets. They put that 500 next to a 45 and the .45 looked like a BB gun. lol

Are those yours, BigRig? That's a nice looking gun. Kinda reminds me of my Colt Anaconda which I love shooting and has great accuracy. I haven't bought a new gun in over 10 years, but I've put a hell of a lot of rounds through that 44. With the right loads, the 44 has quite a bit of pep, not sure I'd want anything bigger. I've also got a Glock 9mm which is a heck of a lot of fun also, but man you can really go through some clips pretty fast with that thing - get's kind've expensive, though. I reload my own stuff and the equipment has paid for itself many times over. Also fun is plinking with the Ruger 22 Mark II Target w/bull barrel - that's a darn accurate gun, right there.

I agree with zwild. I've been over at proshooter for a while now, too, and it's a cool place. And just a thought: how hard is it to draw when wearing gear? Well, a jacket, anyway. Anyone practiced that one??

all the time. it depends on what type of jacket you wear and where your firearm is located. ill make it over to the shooting forums soon, just got alot of stuff going on.

I'm a Kimber fan myself
Great minds think alike...

My backup/off duty carry was a Kimber Ultra Carry.... 1911, 45, 3.5in "Chief's Model Colt", 7+1. Carried IWB SOB (yes - both at the same time) when off duty, and under my right armpit (I shoot left) while on duty. Our uniforms were zippered with faux buttons - so it was easy to get to... unzip with right hand, draw with left. Never needed to, thankfully. But Kimber is absolutely, 100% my favorite gun - it is how a stock gun should be... wonderful triggers.

My duty carry was a Taurus PT92 Stainless - I chose it over the Beretta 92 because of stock trigger feel, location of safety (on frame instead of slide - one-handed operation) which was also located on both sides, and the warranty was better than Beretta - although I never needed it. Great gun and it looked very sharp.

Of course my favorite was the AR-10... took my time piecing this together, and the results were awesome. Bushmaster rules
