Sorry, this thread was entertaining until I saw this...had to comment...
Are you guys really arguing FOR a helmet law? I ALWAYS wear my helmet, but would never, ever, ever vote for a helmet law. It s not the governments job to babysit everyone, we have no helmet law here, and I respect the rights of the morons who choose not to wear them.

You can argue for or agains helmets or seatbelts but i've seen people get killed from not wearing one and have wearing one. **** happens. If it's your time to go it's your time togo!

I feel the same way as previously stated about seatbelt laws. I always always always wear my helmet and seatbelt. But it should be a personal choice, not the governments job to tell us what to do. I do think wearing a helmet or seatbelt is a good idea, the benefits outweigh the risks exponentially. We are essentially on the same side here as far as the law goes, it should be a personal choice what you do...
All of these laws are just revenue enhancement...when will everyone realize that?
