You believers ma want to check out this sight http://www.globalwarminglies.com/

Did all of you also stock up for Y2K? :D

I don't believe it is a problem. There are many time periods hotter an colder than recent times. Some glaciers are melting...while unmentioned others are growing. It is a simple fact of manipulating data to support your cause. It is the new liberal religion, buy into it if you want, but I am using common sense here. I do believe we need to start doing a better job with resources and pollution, but global warming is an urban legend IMHO.

Just heard on the way to work this morning that the weather in the mid-west is the coldest in 10 years. We need to do a much better job if we are causing global warming...The high here tomorrow is 9

I think we'll be seeing a cooling trend for the next 50 years then another warming trend.

There have been something like 7 mass extinctions of life on Earth since life first appeared. There will be others. Fortunately, it happens rarely. As mighty as the dinosaurs were. . . they became extinct. Whether it was caused by a virus contracted from dinosaurs from another region of Earth, a comet/astroid or volcanism. . . extinction is inevitable. . . . Our lives are so short, that none of us are likely to see an end to Homo Sapiens (unless we nuke ourselves into oblivion!).

If we go extinct, I want to be the last surviving man, with about 300 hot chicks. It would be really fun to re-populate the world.
But getting along with 300 women colud be a challenge in itself???
